Volunteer With Us!
The HOPE Center of Maryland volunteers are the heart of our mission. We greatly appreciate the support of individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations within the community. There are opportunities at The Center. We are open to you creating your own project. Be creative! Your commitment and time are of great value to us.

All volunteer positions require an orientation and a volunteer application. Please note that volunteers under the age of 18 are required to be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

Volunteer Opportunities at The Center
Volunteers (individuals or small groups of 4) may sort, repackage, and batch donation boxes for our food partners. In addition, organize and restock shelves, and put together weekend meal bags for at-risk children. We are also in need of drivers to collect and deliver donations.

Collection Drive
Most of the families and individuals we serve are on a limited income. Buying basic necessities can put a burden on their already stretched budget. Coordinating a collection drive is an excellent way to help those in need in Harford County. With minimal planning, collection drives can be organized through your school, church, club, workplace, or even your own neighborhood, at any time of the year. You can browse our printable “Needs List” on the website for what is often needed.
